The last of the 25,000 Syrians the Liberal government committed to welcoming in its refugee resettlement program arrived in Canada on the weekend. Now, Saskatchewan has a tally of how many of the refugees have settled in the province.
The province has welcomed 1,094 Syrian refugees since the program launched in November. Of those, 447 have settled in Regina, 439 in Saskatoon, 113 in Moose Jaw, 87 in Prince Albert and eight in Lumsden.
